SOFT BORDERS 2016
Solo exhibition at the Harnett Gallery, Phoenix Art Museum, Phoenix, Arizona.
The work investigates the permeability and fluidity of borders, whether they be territorial or psychological. It uses the vocabulary of mapping and geography to further explore themes of mobility, home, and connection to place, often reflected through fictional landscapes and alternate terrains.
Project partially funded by the Arlene and Morton Scult Contemporary Forum Artist Award.
